Figma

Description

Figma is a vector graphic editor and primary web-based prototyping tool that was created specifically for interface design and it enables product teams to develop, test, and ship designs. It allows for real-time collaboration with the team and it works with browsers, therefore there is no need to download a software and update it constantly.  It is mostly used for UI and UX designs for websites, apps, or smaller user interface components that can be integrated into other projects. In addition to interface design, customers are using Figma for tasks like visual whiteboarding, diagramming and slide creation, as well as virtual design sprinting, city building, and Minecraft skin creator.

It reduces the need for teams and individuals to continually update and organise their files, as the work is automatically saved online, as well as no need for uploading,  syncing, and arranging multiple PNGs. Because the application is online, it also allows multiple people to design on it at once, or jump into a design at the same time as a client to make sure you are both on the same page.

Figma acts as one platform for everything from design to prototype and also generates SVG code, CSS, and iOS and Android code. It allows unlimited viewers on a project so that everyone in the team knows what is going on. Moreover, teams are able to create systems with all the assets, styles and files in one location.
